Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid Mississippi SLP license
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) encouraged to apply
- Experience in school settings or with pediatrics welcomed but not mandatory
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms considered a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to a diverse student population, fostering growth and engagement
- Assess, diagnose, and design treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and provide progress updates to educational teams and families
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related professionals to support holistic student development
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt therapy approaches for both in-person and virtual settings as needed
