This position involves providing speech and language services across schools with a focus on mild to moderate needs, specifically at McBride/Millikan Specialized Healthcare and Mild/Moderate SDC locations. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California SLP license (CCC or CF)
- Ability to provide services to students with mild to moderate needs
- Familiarity with school-based therapy environments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Passion for helping students achieve communication goals
- Comfortable working independently—SLPA support is not part of this assignment
Role Highlights:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators and support staff across multiple school locations
- Document sessions and maintain compliance with district and IDEA requirements
- Support students’ communication development and advocate for their needs
- Consistent schedule—32 hours per week
