This role calls for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist—open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). You’ll work across two dynamic school campuses, McBride and Millikan, engaging with a diverse student population and collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current California licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Eligible for, or possession of, CCC or CFY status
  • Experience or interest in school-based settings, especially with mild/moderate student needs
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Comfortable working independently—no SLPA support required
  • Passion for helping students achieve their communication goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language services to K-12 students in specialized healthcare and SDC environments
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with mild to moderate disability criteria
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Engage with educators, administrators, and families to support optimal student outcomes
  • Deliver therapy sessions adapted to each student’s unique strengths and challenges
  • Contribute to team meetings and case conferences as needed
