Requirements and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility; acceptance of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- ASHA Certification (CCC) preferred, or willingness to pursue while on assignment
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience is ideal, but strong clinical skills with a passion for school settings are valued
- Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented culture
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in individual and group formats
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs in collaboration with teachers and staff
- Complete comprehensive evaluations, document progress, and maintain accurate student records
- Consult and communicate effectively with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to IEP meetings, support compliance with federal and state regulations, and participate in professional development as needed
