Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Valid California SLP license or eligibility; acceptance of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
  • ASHA Certification (CCC) preferred, or willingness to pursue while on assignment
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience is ideal, but strong clinical skills with a passion for school settings are valued
  • Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented culture
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in individual and group formats
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs in collaboration with teachers and staff
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations, document progress, and maintain accurate student records
  • Consult and communicate effectively with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to IEP meetings, support compliance with federal and state regulations, and participate in professional development as needed
