Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent) from an accredited program
- Eligibility for Texas SLP licensure and/or a temporary license as a Clinical Fellow
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to build rapport with students, families, and staff
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining records and managing caseloads
- Passion for working with school-aged children with diverse backgrounds and communication needs
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment and therapy services for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to ensure integrated support
- Document student progress, prepare comprehensive reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage in professional development to enhance therapy effectiveness and remain current on best practices
