Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Holds or is eligible for state licensure in Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Background in pediatrics or academic settings strongly preferred
- Experience or interest in school-based or healthcare-focused therapy
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Create customized treatment plans to improve students’ communication abilities
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, both in-person and virtually as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational teams to support each student’s IEP goals
- Document progress and adhere to all state and federal regulations for documentation and confidentiality
- Provide support and guidance to students, parents, and faculty regarding speech-language challenges and strategies
