Ideal Background & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility in Massachusetts
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a schools-based setting preferred
- Solid understanding of therapy best practices for students K-3
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
You Will:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide targeted speech and language therapy for K-2 students, with occasional work with third graders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain precise, timely documentation
- Consult with teachers and participate in IEP meetings to support classroom success
- Educate and empower families and caregivers to carry over interventions at home
- Engage in a supportive, collegial environment focused on student achievement
