Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid California state license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or current Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status
  • Previous experience in a school environment preferred but not required
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide guidance and resources for speech and language development to staff and parents
