Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid or pending NM state (NMRLD) license and NMPED certification (NMPED may be pending at the start)
- Eligibility to provide services in a school setting
- Experience or clinical fellowship in pediatric and/or school speech-language settings
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, student-centered approach
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver high-quality speech therapy services to students, collaborating with educators and family members
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track progress and maintain eligibility documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Provide consultative support to teachers and staff
- Participate in meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment, prioritizing each student’s needs
