Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid or pending NM state (NMRLD) license and NMPED certification (NMPED may be pending at the start)
  • Eligibility to provide services in a school setting
  • Experience or clinical fellowship in pediatric and/or school speech-language settings
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Compassionate, student-centered approach

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver high-quality speech therapy services to students, collaborating with educators and family members
  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Track progress and maintain eligibility documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Provide consultative support to teachers and staff
  • Participate in meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment, prioritizing each student’s needs
