Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Mississippi Speech Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC or CFY)
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Experience in school settings preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong background working with pediatric populations and students with communication disorders
  • Comfortable providing services in-person or through teletherapy platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language delays or disorders
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals, both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student progress
  • Participate in MTSS/RTI and IEP team meetings, sharing insights and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
