School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY)

Location: Denver, CO
Start: August 1, 2024 – June 5, 2025
Type: Full Time or Part Time

Setting: K-12 (50 students, 1 location)

Pay: $45-$53

Guaranteed hours, competitive hourly pay, and a weekly direct deposit!

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) to join a supportive school team for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Fellow to gain valuable school-based experience while receiving mentorship and supervision from experienced professionals. The SLP-CFY will support students with speech and language needs and collaborate with staff and families to help students succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments under the supervision of a licensed SLP-CCC.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success.
  • Monitor and document student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development.
  • Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines.
  • Receive ongoing mentorship and supervision to support completion of Clinical Fellowship requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Eligible for Colorado state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.


Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply.

  • Previous school or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for working with students and supporting their communication development.
