A school district in Doniphan, NE, is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026-2027 school year. Both positions require on-site work with no virtual options and do not include Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). Candidates must hold appropriate certifications and be ready to support students within the school environment.
Position 1: Elementary School SLP
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
Position 2: Early Childhood SLP (ages 0-5)
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to children from birth through five years of age
- Work closely with families and early childhood educators
- Perform assessments and tailor interventions to early development needs
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing evidence-based speech therapy interventions
Responsibilities:
- Administer screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and deliver therapy consistent with educational goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school policies
This is a contract opportunity located in Doniphan, NE. Candidates must be available to work on-site throughout the school year without virtual or remote options.
