Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and licensure in Illinois
• Knowledge of assessment tools and individualized education program (IEP) processes
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Eagerness to learn, paired with a passion for working with children and adolescents in a school setting
• Collaborative spirit and flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and school environments
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience (preferred but not required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in diverse grade levels
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop, review, and implement IEPs
• Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, in alignment with educational goals
• Maintain effective communication with staff, administration, and families
• Document progress, maintain records, and comply with established school procedures and state guidelines
• Seek mentorship and professional growth opportunities under the guidance of experienced SLPs
