Qualifications:

  • Active New Mexico (NMRLD) SLP license (or eligibility by start date)
  • NMPED authorization (pending status accepted initially)
  • SLP-CCC or CFY; background in pediatric speech therapy and school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Passion for fostering student success and growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy and evaluations to students ages Pre-K through high school (final caseload determined by your preferred age range)
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor progress, maintain timely documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Engage students in creative and effective interventions for speech and language development
