Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist at two engaging school sites. This onsite-only, contract role involves working with mild to moderate caseloads, allowing you to focus on meaningful, individualized interventions and help students unlock their full communication potential. The position is 35 hours per week, offering a stable schedule within a collaborative, school-based environment.
Ideal candidates will be passionate about empowering young learners, with expertise in speech and language therapy for elementary students. Both SLPs holding their Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply—no assistance from an SLPA is needed for this role.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA CCC preferred, but strong CFY candidates encouraged
- Previous experience in a K-6 or elementary school setting
- Excellent skills in articulation, language, pragmatic, and fluency intervention
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with teachers and related specialists
Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech and language services to mild and moderate students across two elementary locations
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to develop IEP goals and support students’ educational growth
- Engage in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
