Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Active SLP-CCC or eligibility for CFY; open to SLPAs with school or healthcare experience
- Expertise in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within school or teletherapy environments
- Comfortable working with a diverse adolescent population
- Current state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to in-person service; remote/teletherapy not available for this assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring for middle and high school students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and interventions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to foster student communication success
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state, federal, and school-based policies
- Contribute to IEP meetings and the development of student-specific strategies
