This contract role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists holding either their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This assignment runs from August 17, 2026, to May 28, 2027, with new staff training details to be announced. The position offers a consistent schedule of 35.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:25 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLP (CCC or CFY) licensure for the state of Illinois
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 25–30 students in resource services
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Passion for fostering language and communication development in elementary-aged children

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to K-5th grade students
  • Develop, implement, and track individualized therapy plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reporting
  • Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families for comprehensive student support
  • Maintain timely documentation and compliance with all district and state standards
  • Engage in staff development and training opportunities as scheduled
