This position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or a Clinical Fellow (CFY) ready to make an impact in a supportive educational environment, working with a manageable caseload of 25–30 students at a single school.
You will collaborate with colleagues to provide expert speech and language services and help students achieve meaningful progress. Enjoy a structured schedule—35.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:25am to 4pm—from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027. New staff training details will be provided closer to your start date, ensuring you have the support you need to begin confidently.
What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Holds (or eligible for) SLP licensure in Illinois and PEL (Professional Educator License)
- Open to both Speech-Language Pathologists with CCC and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
- Ability to manage a caseload of 25–30 K-5 students with diverse speech and language needs
- Passion for collaboration, flexibility, and child-centered intervention
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group speech-language therapy tailored to student needs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to overall student success in the resource setting
