Pediatric Clinical Fellow Speech Language Pathologist in Hammond, IN

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• State licensure, or eligibility for state licensure, as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly valued
• Previous school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop customized therapy plans targeting each student’s unique goals
• Deliver engaging interventions in-person or via teletherapy to support improvement in communication and swallowing abilities
• Monitor student progress, adjust intervention strategies, and maintain thorough records
• Educate students, families, and caregivers on effective communication support techniques
• Partner with teachers, staff, and fellow healthcare professionals to provide holistic and coordinated care
