This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers the chance to work within a dynamic school setting near both Hayward and Piedmont, CA.
You’ll make a lasting difference in students’ communication abilities, collaborate with motivated education teams, and help guide the next generation of learners. Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply—supervision will be provided to help you succeed as you establish your career.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
- Open to recent graduates and candidates completing their CFY (supervision provided)
- Familiarity with school-based SLP services
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
- Confidence checking in with SLPAs and providing input through virtual consults (VOCO), as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in Pre-K through 5th grade
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress and maintain compliant records
- Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and support personnel
- Supervise and support SLPAs, ensuring quality of service
- Participate in meetings, consultations, and ongoing professional development
