Speech Language Pathologist CFY - Hayward, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students from Pre-K through 5th grade for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers the chance to work within a dynamic school setting near both Hayward and Piedmont, CA.

Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply—supervision will be provided to help you succeed as you establish your career.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
• Open to recent graduates and candidates completing their CFY (supervision provided)
• Familiarity with school-based SLP services
• Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
• Confidence checking in with SLPAs and providing input through virtual consults (VOCO), as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in Pre-K through 5th grade
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Document student progress and maintain compliant records
• Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and support personnel
• Supervise and support SLPAs, ensuring quality of service
• Participate in meetings, consultations, and ongoing professional development
