Pediatric Clinical Fellow Speech Language Pathologist in Irvine, CA

This dynamic role focuses on providing essential speech and language services to a PreK–elementary caseload within a school-based setting, with immediate start through June 2023. Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (or eligibility)
• Current or pending California state licensure
• Prior school-based experience is required
• Clinical Fellowship (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders encouraged to apply
• Experience with pediatrics or teletherapy valued
• SLPA candidates with substantial school experience will be considered
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and parent conferences
• Serve as a resource on speech and language topics for school staff and families
• Use innovative therapy approaches and technology, including teletherapy where needed
