Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs in a collaborative school-based setting near Irvine, CA. This full-time position offers the chance to work with a PreK-elementary caseload in a district committed to student growth and innovative therapy services. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 2023, providing an excellent chance to gain experience and positively impact young learners.

What we’re looking for:

  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC, Clinical Fellow/CFY considered)
  • Prior experience in a school setting required
  • Comfort and expertise with pediatric populations
  • Skilled in teletherapy and in-person interventions
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Open to Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with robust experience

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services to PreK-elementary students with diverse needs
  • Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and support development of individualized plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt therapy modalities to meet student needs, including teletherapy as needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
