This contract role is ideal for Clinical Fellows and school-based Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a meaningful assignment surrounded by friendly students and supportive educational teams.
Your expertise in speech-language therapy will support students as they build communication skills, thrive academically, and develop confidence. You’ll travel between two elementary schools, collaborating with educators and student support professionals to meet IEP goals and ensure every child receives individualized attention.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligible for or possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as required by Minnesota state guidelines
- Previous experience with school-aged children preferred, but new graduates and CFY welcome
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students in both individual and small group settings
- Complete comprehensive assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support each child’s unique needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports
