The ideal candidate brings experience in school settings, ensuring a smooth transition into the role and effective collaboration with educators, families, and support staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current or eligible California SLP licensure (CFY, CCC, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in K-12 school settings is required
  • Skilled in pediatric speech and language therapy
  • Teletherapy experience is valuable, but not required
  • Open to strong SLPA candidates with relevant experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work on interdisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to PreK and elementary students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, resource specialists, and families to support student goals
  • Complete required assessments and document progress accurately and promptly
  • Contribute actively to IEP meetings and participate in school-wide initiatives
  • Adapt service delivery to both in-person and virtual modalities as needed
