Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to independently manage caseload; no supervision of SLPAs required.
- Comfort working with mild to moderate specialized support classrooms.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students within McBride/Millikan Specialized Healthcare and Mild/Moderate SDC programs.
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state requirements.
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to ensure alignment on intervention strategies.
- Flexible adaptation to the needs of individual students, prioritizing supportive and inclusive interventions.
