This opportunity allows you to collaborate across McBride/Millikan Specialized Healthcare and Mild/Moderate SDC campuses, working 32 hours per week alongside passionate educators and supportive teams. With a focus on students who have mild to moderate needs, you'll create lasting impact for learners at various stages in their academic journey.

Ideal candidates bring strong clinical foundations and enthusiasm for school-based practice, whether you are newly earning your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This role does not require oversight or support of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), allowing you to focus on direct intervention and collaboration.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for, or possession of, California SLP licensure and relevant credentials (CCC or CFY status)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with mild to moderate student populations in educational settings
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptable communication style and commitment to culturally responsive practices
  • Initiative and organizational skills to manage caseload effectively across two sites

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services for school-aged students with mild/moderate needs
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and contribute to evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and adjust IEP goals to ensure student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all school district and state requirements
