This contract role provides the opportunity to support learners in a variety of locations and classroom environments near Long Beach, CA. Work with schools offering specialized healthcare, Moderate/Severe Special Day Classes (SDC), and Mild to Moderate programs, making a daily impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Licensure or ability to obtain licensure as an SLP in California
  • Familiarity with school settings and diverse student populations preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with varying needs, from mild to severe
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain case documentation, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide consultative support to teachers, support staff, and families
  • Adapt therapy methodologies for specialized classrooms, including Specialized Healthcare and SDC settings
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students
