Work with schools offering specialized healthcare, Moderate/Severe Special Day Classes (SDC), and Mild to Moderate programs, making a daily impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Licensure or ability to obtain licensure as an SLP in California
- Familiarity with school settings and diverse student populations preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with varying needs, from mild to severe
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain case documentation, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide consultative support to teachers, support staff, and families
- Adapt therapy methodologies for specialized classrooms, including Specialized Healthcare and SDC settings
- Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students
