Make an impact supporting students in a dynamic educational setting near Long Beach, CA. This contract opportunity offers 32 hours per week, working with Mild/Moderate SDC and CDC classrooms. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, students, and families to deliver speech-language services that foster growth and communication.

Ideal candidates are credentialed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) or Clinical Fellows (CFY), passionate about helping students achieve their full potential. This role is well-suited to professionals eager to provide high-quality therapy within a school environment.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY certification
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
  • Familiarity with Mild/Moderate SDC and CDC populations
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Strong organizational skills to manage time and caseload effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, provide direct therapy, and evaluate student progress
  • Develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Partner with teachers, staff, and parents to address student needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state standards
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
  • Support a diverse student population and adapt services to individual needs
