Ideal candidates will hold (or have pending) their New Mexico state (NMRLD) license and NMPED credentials by the start date. New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as well as seasoned SLPs (CCC) are enthusiastically encouraged to apply. Flexibility is at the heart of this role: school administrators are open to discussing your preferred caseload ages during the interview process to ensure the best fit for your skills and interests.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico SLP license (NMRLD) and NMPED certification (pending status accepted)
- CFY, CCC, or pediatric school SLP experience welcomed
- Passion for working with children and supporting their communication growth
- Strong collaboration skills and adaptability
Role Highlights:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student success
- Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with district and state requirements
