You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team at both specialized healthcare programs and mild/moderate special day classes (SDC), delivering speech services to students with varying needs. With a manageable 32-hour work week and no SLPA oversight required, you’ll have the chance to focus wholeheartedly on direct intervention and professional growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license or eligible for licensure (CFY or CCC)
- Experience (or strong interest) in school-based or pediatric settings, particularly with mild/moderate student needs
- Proficient in assessment, intervention, and documentation for diverse K–12 student populations
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, ready to work alongside multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptable, organized, and driven to help every student reach their potential
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement IEP-driven goals and therapy sessions, focusing on mild to moderate disabilities
- Work closely with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure cohesive support
- Track progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Serve students across multiple designated school locations, providing services where they are needed most
