Desired Qualifications:
- Completion or near-completion of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligibility for, or possession of, a California SLP license or credential (or willingness to obtain)
- Open to both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and fully credentialed SLPs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering student progress in academic and social contexts
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide evaluations, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapy to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to craft and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions in accordance with school requirements and professional standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Deliver both group and individual therapy sessions as needed, tailoring techniques to each student's strengths and challenges
- Offer guidance and support to classroom teachers regarding strategies for communication development
