Desired Qualifications:

  • Completion or near-completion of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Eligibility for, or possession of, a California SLP license or credential (or willingness to obtain)
  • Open to both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and fully credentialed SLPs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Passion for fostering student progress in academic and social contexts

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide evaluations, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapy to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to craft and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions in accordance with school requirements and professional standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Deliver both group and individual therapy sessions as needed, tailoring techniques to each student's strengths and challenges
  • Offer guidance and support to classroom teachers regarding strategies for communication development
