Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Completion of or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in California as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Strong interest in or experience with school-based speech therapy
  • Adaptability to work with students with moderate to severe needs, including SDC and specialized healthcare settings
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to create engaging therapy plans tailored to diverse learners

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students with a range of needs (mild to severe)
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct intervention for students identified with communication disorders
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, other therapists, and families to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate records and document student progress according to school and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise, and help set measurable student goals
  • Educate and support school staff on communication strategies and accommodations
