Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Eligibility for or possession of state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or ability to obtain)
  • Completion or near-completion of graduate clinical practicum requirements
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help children succeed

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students with a variety of disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in partnership with educators and families
  • Assess, monitor, and document students’ progress toward goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student achievement
  • Support the development of functional communication strategies in both individual and group settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports
  • Engage in professional development and ongoing learning
