Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Eligibility for or possession of state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or ability to obtain)
- Completion or near-completion of graduate clinical practicum requirements
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help children succeed
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with a variety of disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in partnership with educators and families
- Assess, monitor, and document students’ progress toward goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student achievement
- Support the development of functional communication strategies in both individual and group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports
- Engage in professional development and ongoing learning
