You will work three days each week, totaling 21 hours, offering you a balanced schedule to pursue other passions or commitments while focusing your expertise where it matters most. This position is ideal for those experienced or beginning their career in the field—whether you are a Clinical Fellow (CFY), hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or are a licensed SLPA.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Valid SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA licensure in New York
• Experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings preferred
• Comfort working in person with a middle to high school student caseload
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Teletherapy experience is valued but not required for this in-person role
• Passion for fostering growth in students with speech-language needs
Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct intervention and support to students in a school environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized educational plans
