Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Valid New Mexico state license (NMRLD) by the start date
  • New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) certification required; pending status considered at hire
  • Eligible for, or current, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations and deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students, tailored to their educational needs
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with staff and families
  • Document student progress efficiently and accurately
  • Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and families to foster student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development
