Key Qualifications:
- Current or pending New Mexico NMRLD and NMPED licensure by start date
- Experience or interest working in school-based, pediatric, or clinical fellowship (CFY) settings
- Ability to adapt to a diverse student caseload, with specific age group preferences considered during the interview process
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement therapeutic interventions, documenting progress and collaborating with other school professionals and families
- Participate in staff meetings, contribute to IEP meetings, and support student success in both educational and social contexts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with state and district requirements
