A public school district in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) for the upcoming school year. This is a strong opportunity to complete your Clinical Fellowship in a supportive, collaborative K–12 environment with structured supervision and mentorship.

Position Overview

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday (35–40 hours/week)
  • Onsite role serving PreK–12 students (assignment based on district needs)
  • Supervision provided by a licensed SLP to support CF completion
  • Full school-year contract with potential for renewal

Caseload Details

  • Average caseload: 40–60 students (varies by site)
  • Students with mild to moderate communication needs
  • Areas of service include:
    • Articulation & phonological disorders
    • Receptive/expressive language delays
    • Social/pragmatic communication needs
    • Fluency and voice disorders
  • Possible exposure to:
    • Autism spectrum disorders
    • AAC/assistive communication devices
    • Early childhood and elementary populations
  • Responsibilities:
    • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations
    • Develop and implement IEP goals
    • Provide direct therapy (individual and small group)
    • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
    • Maintain documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines

Oklahoma State Requirements (SLP-CF)

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Eligibility for Oklahoma SLP Licensure through the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship (CF) year
  • Must obtain appropriate Oklahoma teaching certification or school credential depending on district requirements through the Oklahoma State Department of Education
  • Passing the Praxis exam typically required for full certification/licensure
  • Required background checks (state and federal fingerprinting clearance)
