Ideal candidates will have experience or training in school-based speech-language therapy and are comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists to deliver tailored interventions. Strong communication, organizational skills, and adaptability are essential.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license and all necessary clearances
- Eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) or CCC-SLP credentials
- Experience providing services in a school environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of current best practices and IEP processes
- Comfort working with K-2 students and adapting to occasional older elementary cases
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement effective evidence-based therapy plans for students
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes for IEP reporting and compliance
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate closely with teachers and families
- Create engaging activities suited to various speech and language goals
- Support students’ social and academic growth through communication skill development
