A school district in Reading, PA is seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) for the upcoming school year. This is a strong opportunity to complete your Clinical Fellowship in a supportive K–12 setting with structured mentorship.

Position Overview

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday (35–40 hours/week)
  • Onsite role serving K–12 students (placement based on district need)
  • Supervision provided by a licensed SLP for CF completion
  • Full school year contract with potential for renewal

Caseload Details

  • Average caseload: 40–60 students (varies by building)
  • Mild to moderate needs across general and special education
  • Areas of service include:
    • Articulation & phonological disorders
    • Receptive/expressive language delays
    • Social/pragmatic communication
    • Fluency and voice disorders
  • Possible exposure to AAC, autism, and early intervention populations
  • Responsibilities:
    • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations
    • Develop and implement IEP goals
    • Provide direct therapy (individual & small groups)
    • Collaborate with staff and families
    • Maintain compliant documentation

Pennsylvania State Requirements (SLP-CF)

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Eligibility for Educational Specialist Certificate (Instructional I) through the Pennsylvania Department of Education
  • Temporary/CF licensure through the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
  • Completion of supervised Clinical Fellowship
  • Required clearances:
    • FBI Fingerprinting
    • PA Child Abuse Clearance
    • PA Criminal Background Check
