Step into a valuable role supporting the growth and communication skills of elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at two local school sites near Riverside, CA. This contract opportunity is onsite only, offering a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week focused on working directly with students who have mild to moderate needs. You’ll play a pivotal part in helping these young learners reach important milestones, fostering their confidence and engagement in the classroom.

Ideal candidates bring their expertise as an SLP - CCC or SLP - CFY, are passionate about school-based interventions, and thrive in a collaborative educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • California SLP licensure or eligibility (CCC or CFY)
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus, but motivated Clinical Fellows are welcome
  • Ability to independently manage caseloads within elementary settings
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
  • No supervision of SLPAs required for this position

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students (preK–5) with mild and moderate speech and language disorders
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans targeting communication goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure the best outcomes for students
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input and progress updates
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to all school and legal documentation requirements
