Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Holds or eligible for CCC or CF (Clinical Fellowship candidates welcome)
- Previous experience in school settings or similar pediatric caseloads preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and best practices for special education
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy to students with mild to moderate speech/language needs
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
- Manage time between two school sites (McBride/Millikan Specialized Healthcare and Mild/Moderate SDC)
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Provide consultation and recommendations for classroom teachers and caregivers
