Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active CA SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based experience a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation, progress reports, and assessments in compliance with school and state regulations
- Provide guidance and training to teachers and families to better support students
- Collaborate with other education professionals to foster a supportive learning environment
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required
