Step into a meaningful role supporting middle and high school students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This position offers the chance to make a real difference by providing direct speech and language services in a school setting. Work part-time across three days per week, for a total of 21 hours, collaborating with a dedicated team to foster student growth and communication skills.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current or eligible New York licensure as SLP (CCC/CFY) or SLPA
  • Experience with school-aged children in middle and/or high school
  • Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Comfort working in a school or healthcare environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Experience in pediatric, teletherapy, or healthcare settings is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy in-person to a diverse middle-high school caseload
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain detailed documentation
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals
  • Deliver therapy sessions individually or in small groups
  • Consult with educational staff to support student success
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with families
