Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist CFY in Waterloo, NY

Key Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) or certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
• Experience in school-based and/or healthcare settings, with a passion for supporting pediatric and adolescent development.
• Strong background in providing speech-language services to students in grades 6-12.
• Skilled in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educational teams.
• Comfortable working in person with students who have diverse speech and language needs.
• Prior experience with teletherapy a plus, though not required.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to a manageable caseload of middle and high school students.
• Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support students’ academic and social success.
• Monitor progress, maintain detailed documentation, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Offer consultative support and training to school staff as needed.
