Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Mississippi Speech-Language Pathology license required.
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Previous experience in school-based settings is a plus, but new graduates and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication skills to partner with families, teachers, and support staff.
  • Experience or interest in pediatric populations, teletherapy, and healthcare-related speech services also welcomed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders for a diverse student caseload.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy plans.
  • Monitor student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and report on outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ educational goals.
  • Utilize teletherapy solutions where appropriate and participate in team meetings.
