Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered)
- Current New Mexico state (NMRLD) license or eligibility by start date; NMPED can be pending before you begin
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Commitment to supporting students’ communication and academic success
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
- Assess students’ needs and adjust interventions as required
- Foster a nurturing and positive learning atmosphere for all
