Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking rewarding roles for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment located near Wood River, NE. Two full-time, on-site SLP openings are available—one in an elementary setting, and one working with early childhood students (ages 0-5).

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active SLP license in Nebraska, or eligibility to obtain prior to employment
  • CFY candidates and SLPs holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy services
  • Commitment to in-person, on-site service; remote work is not available
  • SLPA candidates are not eligible for these openings
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students according to IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to support student success
  • Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
  • Participate in parent meetings, team meetings, and professional development as needed
  • For elementary role: Provide services to students throughout elementary grades
  • For early childhood role: Work with students ranging from birth to five years old
