Apply NowExciting opportunities are now available for two on-site Speech-Language Pathologists for the upcoming 26-27 school year. These full-time contract positions cater to distinct age groups: one focusing on elementary students, and the other supporting children in early childhood through age five. Both roles are strictly on-site, with no virtual component, and are not open to SLPAs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligible for or possession of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid state SLP licensure, or the ability to obtain it prior to the start date
- Prior school-based SLP experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students (either elementary or early childhood, depending on placement)
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
- Offer consultation to classroom teachers and staff regarding communication strategies and student needs
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention planning
- Communicate progress with families and caregivers, ensuring a supportive and transparent process
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth
