Step into a dynamic educational setting where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow can have a direct impact on the communication growth of young learners. This contract opportunity involves supporting students in grades K–5 at a single school, working closely with a manageable caseload of 25–30 children as part of a collaborative resource team.

You’ll provide essential speech and language services during standard school hours (Monday through Friday, 8:25 am to 4:00 pm), totaling 35.5 hours per week. With the school year running from August 17, 2026, to May 28, 2027, you’ll begin your journey with orientation and training (date to be announced), ensuring you’re equipped with the resources you need to thrive.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current Illinois SLP license, or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
  • ASHA Certification (CCC) preferred, but not required
  • Experience or comfort working with K-5 student populations.
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students (K–5)
  • Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports for a caseload of 25–30 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
