Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Illinois state licensure (or eligibility)
- Strong knowledge and experience working with K-8 populations
- Proven ability to manage cross-categorical caseloads and tailor interventions
- Skilled at working collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services for a diverse K-8 caseload
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans addressing students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions in collaboration with IEP teams
- Maintain thorough records, complete documentation promptly, and participate in meetings as required
- Deliver services within both individual and group settings in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student success in the classroom and beyond
