Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-8 students near the Channahon and Shorewood area. This full-time role is set for the 2026-2027 school year and offers the chance to make a real difference in students’ lives across a range of needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Illinois state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with K-8 populations
  • Proven ability to manage cross-categorical caseloads and tailor interventions
  • Skilled at working collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services for a diverse K-8 caseload
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans addressing students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Maintain thorough records, complete documentation promptly, and participate in meetings as required
  • Deliver services within both individual and group settings in accordance with students’ IEPs
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support student success in the classroom and beyond
