Speech Language Pathologist in Channahon, IL

Step into a rewarding role supporting students in their early years of education as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist. In this full-time position, you'll serve a K-2nd grade population, working Monday through Friday, 7:35 am to 3:05 pm. With a manageable caseload of 25-30 students, you'll provide essential speech and language services using a schedule that is thoughtfully prepared and ready for immediate implementation of push-in support.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
• Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with young elementary students is preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to follow established schedules and adapt services within classroom settings

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct push-in speech and language services to K-2nd students in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to promote student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, progress, and compliance
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families regarding student needs and achievements
• Utilize evidence-based interventions for early learners and tailor support to individual student goals
