Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Active SLP state license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, ideally K-12 populations
- Ability to evaluate and implement evidence-based interventions for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong communication, collaboration, and record-keeping skills
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech or language concerns
- Develop and execute Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to individuals and small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain clear documentation and ongoing communication regarding student performance
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Provide support and resources to school staff, aiding overall student learning and development
