Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Chapin, SC

Desired Background and Credentials:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply
• Experience working in pediatric, healthcare, or educational settings welcomed
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educators, staff, and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans to support student progress
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students, both individually and in group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to promote optimal learning environments
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, session notes, and required reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on student strengths and therapy recommendations
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
