Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as required for school-based SLPs
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Open to providing services either on-site or virtually, pending placement

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy to students with a variety of communication disorders
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, family members, and other professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and document student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions
  • Adapt approaches for on-site or virtual delivery, as needed
