Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Current or in-progress Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY applicants encouraged
  • Experience working in schools, pediatric settings, or healthcare-related SLP roles
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and compliance with special education regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language assessments for students in grades K-12 and interpret results for team-based planning
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans targeting a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Collaborate actively with teachers, administrators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on assessment and progress data
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies
  • Support and mentor, where appropriate, less experienced SLPs or CFY candidates
